Can you imagine a lovely pond setting without a water lily? The rounded leaves float on the water’s surface; the flowers are complex shaped, one per stem and open/close daily (some bloom at night). Colors range from white, lavender-blue, orange, pink or red and are often fragrant.
Care: full sun, keep submerged in water, blooms in summer/fall, great in ponds, water gardens or aquatic container gardens. Hardiness is determined by variety. Heavy feeders: fertilize monthly during the growing season.Care
