A woody rambling vine with long arching, thorny branches bearing colorful, paperlike blossoms in white, red, pink, orange, purple or burgundy. Best planted in containers and treated as an annual. Blooms for up to 6 weeks in late summer-fall, attractive to hummingbirds & butterflies.

Care: full sun (at least 6 hours), best in containers with well-draining soil and regular applications of organic, slow-release fertilizer with 3-4-5 ratio. Very tender to frost – best treated as an annual.
