Privacy, security and noise abatement were of primary concern for this landscape renovation.
This new home was built 200 feet from a four lane highway with loud traffic noise. Privacy, security and noise abatement were of primary concern. The landscape redesigned included; all new plantings, water feature, patio and entry surfaces, outdoor kitchen, portico, privacy and sound barrier walls, new paver stone driveway and basketball surfaces plus basketball hoop, Sport Court, low voltage lighting, rebounder, play fort and swing set.
We installed a new sprinkler system throughout, with drip irrigation discreetly introduced by cutting channels through the existing concrete before the new Bluestone surface was installed into the bottom of pots we selected on both the rear patio and entry, (with separate control of each for different sun exposures). Sand surfaced drainage systems frame new lawns graded to move water to the borders and off concrete where standing water and muddy lawn problems were found or anticipated. Rock stepping stones, slate pathways and bark running paths for the kids flow through the yard, side yard gates and arbors over them, plus plantings selected for ongoing favorite colors, texture, fragrance, form and privacy enhancement. Fully automated gate, with rock posts matching the home chimney and wrought iron fencing complete the perimeter where stucco walls end. Low voltage lighting softly lights the driveway, entry, waterfall, play fort, pathways and arbors from the trees as well as up lighting of select trees, tree trunks and water spillways.
