Stand & Water

Be sure the stand you use will support the tree and hold an adequate amount of water. Our staff will be glad to help you choose the best stand. Always have fresh cut on a tree before placing in a stand. Add water immediately and check water level often. Your tree may drink quite a bit of water at first. Add Christmas tree preservative to the water…this will help your tree take up the water.

Cloud Cover:

“Cloud Cover” is an anti-transpirant spray which keeps the needles from drying out in warm indoor conditions. We strongly recommend it for green Christmas trees, wreaths
and living trees.

Flocked Trees:

A flocked tree is fire resistant, but should still be in a stand that holds water. Flock is fluffed cellulose wood product with a fire retardant added. It is non-toxic and non-allergenic.

Safety:

Lights can really beautify your tree, but remember to string together no more than 300 mini lights to a socket. Always unplug lights if the tree is left unattended or before going to bed
at night.

Reminder: Using candles or any other decorations with a live flame around your tree is a fire hazard.
