Lavender Made Easy

Local lavender expert Sarah Bader, owner of Lavender at Stonegate, will be here to talk about the most stunning lavenders available today, from the continuous blooms of deep purple, ‘Buena Vista’ to the sweet, delicate flavor of ‘Melissa’ to use in your recipes.
Many of these hard-to-find cultivars will be available for sale at Dennis’ 7 Dees during the presentation. Whether you want to create a fabulous container garden, a dramatic border, or an exquisite edible herb garden, Sarah will help you decide the best lavenders for your needs. Sarah will also be selling signed copies of her new book, published by Timber Press, entitled, ‘The Lavender Lover’s Handbook: The 100 Most Beautiful and Fragrant Varieties for Growing, Crafting and Cooking. If you want to learn how to grow, care for and use this wonderful and versatile herb, this class is a must.

Living Wreaths with Succulents & Sedums

Becky from Sedum Chicks will demonstrate the process of making a living wreath with succulents & sedums. Her knowledge on the care and maintenance of this project will ensure your success. Each attendee will receive a 14" wreath kit to make their own after the demo.
$45 fee for class covers all the supplies needed for your living wreath project.
