Elephant Ears (Colocasia)

Also known as Taro, Elephant Ears have large exotic looking foliage shaped like an elephant’s ear. – Stunning focal point in flower beds or potted arrangements & thrives in large aquatic containers and/or ponds. Large leaves are in shades of green but can be very colorful, may have pronounced veining & colorful stems.

Care: Grow in partial shade in evenly moist soil, aquatic container or pond. Colocasias are heavy feeders so be sure to fertilize regularly with slow-release and supplement with liquid fertilizer during rapid growth; grows fastest in warm weather. Mulch in ground 6” over crown or protect from frost.
